Yes I agree the free support for GT5 is amazing.
I paid for several car packs for the 'other' title last year but there was never any fundamental gameplay or features updates.
GT5 by Dec 11 will be a different game to what launched in 10 ;-)

You do a bit but I agree ,I do also wish Forza had the weather and night effects but I understand T10's reason for leaving them out which they clearly detailed in their under the hood blog and was to do with hardware performance and need to maintain 60fps and the high detail tracks. Not as much CPU power you see.
OT I will update my GT5 and see how it stacks up to my LCE 4za when I get it on Friday.

Agree Darth. My rig is 2 yrs old (dual core + 9600gt) and runs most things I still play pretty well. Problem is I just don't game on my pc like I used to. Maybe this will change if dlc, online passes and pay to play gets out of hand. Counterstrike forever!!!
OT I really do think a self built pc is the best way to fully learn about hardware and it gives you a sense of satisfaction especially when benchmarking and over clocking.

Totally agree with you on all points especially re loading and updates. I don't use my ps3 much now as it does my head in. If I play a game for the first time in ages on ps3 I might as well go paint a fence. When I popped gears 2 in my 360 the other day for the first time in 9 months the update took about 30 sec then I was in owning on horde. Hardware is one thing but you need good software. Graphics power is nice.
I think that the power consumption and control issues inherent in small devices need to catch up. I'd love COD on a small portable but would need to be able to play it as well as a console for me to buy it.
